The Winchester Mystery House has 160 rooms including 40 bedrooms, 47 staircases, 13 bathrooms, 6 kitchens, 10,000 window panes, 2,000 doors, 52 skylights, 47 fireplaces, three elevators, two basements and just one shower. So, touring the mansion and grounds takes time. Don’t worry though, we’re here to assist in planning your visit.

Do you know what date you will be visiting? Save time by purchasing tickets on our website in advance! Purchasing your tickets in person when you arrive will put you on the first available tour, which may result in a longer wait time and if it is a busy day, we may be sold out.
Beat The Crowds:
The weekends here can get quite busy – we recommend visiting us Monday-Thursday to beat the rush and have a more relaxed experience. Please note that June and July are an exception, as every day tends to be busy during that time.

Guests can enjoy a variety of onsite vintage arcade games and Sarah’s Attic Shooting Gallery. Sharp eyed guests can take a rifle in hand to activate 38 known targets (one for every year the incredible mansion was under construction) that unleash the supernatural.
