ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

While the architectural charm of Sarah’s mansion dates back centuries, we understand that accessibility is important for all of our visitors. Please note that due to the historic nature of the home, the interior is not wheelchair accessible. However, we are committed to providing to providing inclusive experiences for everyone.

To ensure that all visitors can enjoy the rich history, we offer a range of accessible options:

1. ADA Video Tour (In-Person, Wheelchair Accessible): Guests can enjoy a video tour in one of the accessible outside buildings, accompanied with a knowledgable guide to answer any questions and provide more insight. The gardens are then free to explore at your own pace.

2. American Sign Language Tour: On select dates, we offer ASL guided tours with fluent interpreters. Alternatively, guests are welcome to bring their own interpreter to any tour at no additional cost for their ticket. 

3. Immersive 360 Tour (online): Navigate through the rooms and behind the ropes of Sarah’s mansion at your own pace, soaking in the details as if you were here in person. Please note, that this online experience does not include narration.

4. Online Video Tour: For those unable to leave their home, our online video provides an exploration of the mansion’s highlights with narration.

5. Sarah’s Garden Tour: Our Victorian Garden’s around the estate are wheelchair accessible.

6. Accessible Facilities: Our restrooms, Sarah’s Shooting Gallery, central courtyard, original greenhouse, tool shed, gift shop, and gardens are all handicap accessible and can be navigated with ease.

7. Service Dogs Welcome: We warmly welcome certified service dogs for our guests that require their assistance.
