Explore More Tour Debuts at Winchester Mystery House

Today, in the presence of local Bay Area media and invited guests, we cut the ceremonial ribbon on the grand opening of our all-new Explore More Tour, now open as a tour option at Winchester Mystery House. Under blue skies, puffy white clouds and cool breezes, we opened a new chapter in the ongoing legacy of Sarah Winchester’s magnificent home by premiering our first new tour in over two decades!

Explore More Debuts

Joining Walter Magnuson (General Manager of Winchester Mystery House) in cutting the ribbon was the Honorable Charles “Chappie” Jones (Councilmember, City of San Jose – District 1). Over 12 million guests from around the world have visited our legendary home since 1923 and now we have opened areas and rooms of the home that have NEVER been seen by the public before!

Explore More Debuts

The new Explore More Tour is only available in tandem with the Mansion Tour and represents the most comprehensive journey through the mansion we have ever offered. This intimate and unique experience (only 10-12 guests per tour) unveils, for the first time, many of the mansion’s most hidden hideaways and unexplained areas. To follow this tour on social media, or to share your experience, please utilize #exploremoretour.
