UPDATES

MASK POLICY: As of March 2, 2022

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department announced that all masking metrics have been met and therefore indoor masking will no longer be required beginning March 2. However, the Public Health Department and the California Department of Public Health strongly recommend that the public continue to wear masks in all indoor public spaces.

Vaccination Policy: As of January 1, 2022

All WMH employees must be fully vaccinated or provide a weekly negative COVID test. At this time in accordance with county guidelines guests are not required to be vaccinated, however our mask policy remains in place.

MASK POLICY: As of July 17, 2021

Out of an abundance of caution, the Bay Area County Health Departments are recommending people wear masks indoors in public settings, even if they are fully vaccinated as an added layer of protection for unvaccinated residents. Businesses like ours have been urged to adopt universal indoor masking requirements for customers to provide better protection to their employees and customers.

In alignment with the recommendations from the County of Santa Clara, Winchester Mystery House will require that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks indoors during their visit. This is an extra precautionary measure for those who are fully vaccinated, and to ensure easy verification that all unvaccinated people are masked in those settings. We will continue to closely monitor the guidance and update our policies accordingly.
